Artist's Statement

I believe Art Education is so vital for today’s education. Being an art teacher in Milford and Bradley schools, I wanted to be a part of the Brunswick Art Benefit! Too many states are eliminating the arts within their schools - I’d hate to see that happen in our regions. When I think back to my childhood, I can still remember the different projects.

I did, both in art class and in other classes, when I had to do any drawing or create something of my own! I just loved it! And I loved the attention I would get because I was able to do it well. It did so much for my self-confidence. I think we should congratulate the people in Brunswick for putting forth the effort it takes to pull off this endeavor.
